Glock 18 Parts - Tokyo Marui Sopmod M4 by A.E.G. one of the original next generation Recoil shocks. In many ways it paved the way for everything to come because the first GEN NEXT AK74MN was a massive failure. At the time it was rolled into the next generation, new logs were needed and generally considered tricky. This is also a huge unknown. No upgrade parts, no information and no support. It's a big deal to expect people to use the AK74 when it's not the "most popular" platform. Then the M4 sopmod changed the game by adding the AUTO or BOLT Stop function. They go from gimmicky to practical features in one quick move. Since the gun is dead empty, it's a realistic huge milsim option for half the price of the PTW. Suddenly, Next gen took off. It is also worth noting that, for the first time for Tokyo Marui, the M4 also received an all-metal upper and lower part on the M4 platform. This brings it back to the other companies that make the M4. The M4 Sopmod also marks a complete redesign of the Version 2 transmission and Classic M4 Hop unit. Both have been redesigned with many new advantages, such as the hop unit does not stop and offers heavier ammo, the V2 transmission does not have a lock, switching to full auto allows you to remove jams, which is not possible. in the old V2. The GB design also includes many small refinements.
This weapon uses the NEW Version 2 transmission, so NEW Version 2 parts are required. The best part for this weapon is to look for it based on the weapon itself, especially the M4 next gen.

We are often asked how much a particular build will cost, when asked we try to combine each request into this example build part so you can get a rough idea of build costs. Sorry if this seems a little impersonal, but it takes 2 guns a day to quote every customer that emails us. We only strive to spend time in the workshop with YOUR guns and not behind the computer answering emails.

Over the past 2 years I have fired over 70,000 rounds with my Glock pistol in practice and competition. I mention this fact because although I maintain my Glocks diligently, 70,000 shots (55,000 of them just a G19) have revealed some interesting and instructive maintenance issues.
Based on my experience, I will share some suggestions for maintaining your Glock pistol for long life and high reliability. Of course, nothing is certain when it comes to mechanical devices, but the steps we'll share here will ensure you meet your responsibilities and do your part to reduce the chance of injury or life-threatening damage. However, we offer one certainty: mileage may vary.
Owning a firearm comes with certain obligations. These include maintaining an accurate shot count for every firearm you own – AND every part. Unless you accurately count the number of shots for each component of each weapon and act at the right time, you will suffer a comfortable or potentially fatal failure in training or protecting your life. no
Every time you replace a part (before it fails), log the date and number of laps and record the target lap number for the next replacement. Watch and record the number of rounds each time you fire the gun. When the count exceeds the appropriate threshold for that part's life, replace it and continue. We'll look at component life in a moment.

First, clean your Glock every time you shoot. Keep it as clean as new and it will last a long time. Also, I recommend a full disassembly detail cleaning every 2,000 rounds because I find that's how many rounds it takes for the internals to get dirty enough to be a concern. As with all things in pistol maintenance, I err on the side of caution rather than luck.
My Glock 19 after 2 years and 55,000 rounds. So far I have replaced the recoil spring, release spring, and spring stop spring several times, and replaced the extractor, spring catch magazine, spring stop, and spring cups once. For a thorough cleaning, disassemble the Glock up to this point and thoroughly clean each part. Make sure all parts are dry before reassembling.
After disassembling the slide and frame, thoroughly clean each part and clean all cavities in the slide and frame. I recommend you
Remove the magazine catch and spring or sliding detent spring unless you are replacing it, as this can damage and weaken the spring.

I recommend using only dry Q-tips or other dry materials to clean the interior of the stop and extractor chute cavity. You don't want a slightly wet surface in your attack channel. No matter how you clean the other parts, use a dry patch to make sure they are completely dry before assembling.
The really dirty parts that need special attention include the extractor (especially the blade/groove edge), the firing pin safety piston, and the business end of the striker. I use Rem Oil wipes or patches moistened with Rem Oil to really dig into the part with my nails to completely remove the gunpowder.
You never know when a part in a firearm will fail. Therefore, liability requires that parts be replaced at the recommended lap count intervals. It is best to replace the part before you think it is necessary!
Most small Glock parts are fairly inexpensive, and I recommend keeping a pair or two on hand for any Glock at all times. That way, if it fails—and if you train a lot, you will—you can simply set up a new replacement without waiting for it to arrive.

There are some Glock pistol parts that wear out faster than others and require regular replacement. This includes the recoil spring, release spring, slide lock spring, and magazine catch spring.
The recoil spring is the backbone of the gun. There are many ideas and options for replacing the recoil spring to a) prevent rotation problems and b) prevent the locking block pin from breaking. I recommend replacing the (highly pressurized) .40 cal and .357 Sig recoil springs every 3000-5000 rounds. For .380, 9mm, .45, and 10mm, I recommend replacing it every 5,000-10,000 rounds.
Glock factory recoil spring. I've tried many others and I've never had a non-Glock OEM recoil spring go over 1000 rounds before breaking or causing rotation problems. Very
